Yesterday, my wife and l, along with a couple of friends had some of the staff from rockfish camp come and eat with us. These counselors worked all week (Sunday @ 4 to Saturday @ 10) and then they had 24 hours off and then start another camp today. These counselors are working like this week after week this summer. It was amazing to me to hear their different stories. As they talked I realized how much these young men and women of faith were sacrificing week after week this summer that younger youth and children might experience the love of Christ. Since they left yesterday I have thought about these counselors and hope that they are taking care of their selves spiritually that they have something to give throughout the rest of the summer. I have to say though, that if the next generation of believers are like this group of counselors then the Church is headed in the right direction.
