All the time, every day, without exception
Isaiah 46:3-4–>Listen to me, O house of Jacob, all you who remain of the house of Israel, you whom I have upheld since you were conceived, and have carried you since your birth. Even to you old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
God is so intimately involved in our lives that He is concerned with every detail; He is the one that never forsakes or abandons us; He is the one that comes to us and carries us out of the storm; that protects us; the one that comes closer to us during those times of need. We are God’s creation; there is something at stake for God in our redemption. God is invested in us; God desires to see our success; God desires to see our redemption and to sustain us that we might live into the creation that He desires. God will do whatever it takes to make Himself known to us and He will walk with us through the storms of life and when necessary pick us up and carry us along the way to bring us to safety. The promise is not that God will keep us from experiencing the pains of life but when the pains come God will walk beside us every step of the way always inviting and encouraging us to come closer to Him, cry out to Him, and allow Him to sustain us with His loving presence. God made us; God will carry us; God will rescue us; God will sustain us
God thank you for the reminder today that you are the one that created me; that you have something at stake in my life. Thank you for not forgetting about me; thank you for being so intimately involved in my life whether I know it or care to know it. Thanks you for not abandoning me during the storms of life but coming closer to me that I may cry out to you and find a place to rest my burden. Thank you for hearing my cry. God may you be the sustaining force in my life today; may you carry me and rescue me when necessary today. May I reflect your love and assurance that travels with me through every single detail of life. Give me the grace to respond to you and to remember who and who’s I am today. Do with my life today what you please that I may become the creation you have desired since the beginning. Be that delivering presence in my life today. Amen!
