I had an awesome lunch today with a new friend and on my way home I realized how much I already love the people within this place. As I think about the people in this place and imagine what God desires and where He is leading this new church I become overwhelmed with joy. I love these folks and I want so badly for God’s presence to be made known in their lives in a way that would change them forever. I love the very thought of coming together with these folks to worship the God that refused to leave us abandoned but came and met us where we were through Jesus Christ. I am deeply moved at the possibility that there will be many people that will come to know Jesus through this new church and that many more will develop in this journey of faith and grow into the men and women that God is calling us to be. When I think about the impact that Crossroads is going to make upon this communty and the world I have a hard time containing my excitement. I thank God for this calling; I thank God for Jesus Christ; I thank God for this life which is, as far as I am concerned, is the best possible way to live.
