Community Candlelight Celebration

Posted: December 7, 2007 in new church

Hey, thanks for inquiring about our first annual “Community Candlelight Celebration” which will take place December 16th at 5:30pm in the Atrium of Jack Britt High School.  This is going to be an exciting, heartwarming, and affirming celebration of how God entered into our chaos through the birth of Jesus Christ that we might experience a new life filled with faith, hope, and love.  During the celebration we will worship through song, have the Christmas story read to our children, hear the story proclaimed by Pastor Chad, and then close with a candlelight version of Silent Night outside of the high school.  candle in handYoung families are always welcome at Crossroads and caring professional childcare staff will be provided.  Before and after the Celebration coffee and hot chocolate will be available for your enjoyment.  Information concerning Crossroads will also be available to help you get connected to a Church whose main focus is to make Jesus the most popular guy in our whole area by being a crossroads between the brokenness of the world and the transforming love of Jesus Christ.  We are excited about what God is doing and look forward to sharing an evening with you by celebrating that through Jesus Christ, God has invited us to love the world to     heaven, and we believe that this is the best possible way to live.
