My Snapshot

I am a person that deserves to be seperated from God for all of eternity but through Jesus Christ I am forgiven, transformed and empowered to join God in loving the world to heaven.  Currently, my family and I are living in Fayetteville, NC with the sole purpose of joining God in the creation of a new community of faith (Crossroads UMC).  We know that we are broken and it is only through Jesus that our brokenness is transformed into wholeness.  This is our story and it is a part of the continued story of God’s redemptive plan for the world.  This blog is mostly tied to my devotional life; what you see here is how God is speaking to me in the quietness of my devotional life.  You will see struggles, praises, concerns, joys, challenges, faith, sin, hope, brokenness, wholeness, weakness, strength, and many more emotions as I seek to grow closer to God and the man He desires for me to be.  Please feel free to comment on any post and help me in this journey known as following Jesus.

Keep the Faith; Never lose Hope; Always Love!

Peace,

Chad  (www.connect2crossroads.com)

  1. Hey brother. What do ya think about reinventing the UMC? Yea, I know it’s radical……I am interested in forming a group who will allow God to lead a reinvention with much more than radical hospitality. Our systems are perfectly designed for the results we are getting. We need a new vision that sees through the eyes of Jesus rather than the anchor of traditions. We have a bunch of traditions and processes that are perfectly designed for an annual reduction in membership and lack of professions of faith in the UMC.
